This year, I’ll be setting off on an indefinite road trip around Australia with my dog, a camper van, and a mission:
To explore, create, connect - and pay it forward.

This isn’t just a personal adventure. It’s a mobile office, and a commitment to supporting other small businesses as I go.

🚐 On The Road - With Mikey & Brownie

Hey there - thanks for stopping by!

I’m Michael. I’ve just turned 50, and my best mate Brownie (a 10-year-old rescue dog) and I are planning to set off on a big adventure - a long-awaited life reset, a journey around Australia, and hopefully, something more meaningful along the way.

I’m reaching out to find someone who might be willing to help us get there.

What’s This All About?

This trip isn’t just about escaping the city or chasing sunsets (although, let’s be honest, there’ll be plenty of those too). It’s about healingfreedom, and doing something that genuinely fills the cup — not just for me, but for the people I meet.

I’ve been navigating some mental health struggles, and for years I’ve dreamed of hitting the road - simplifying life, working remotely, and paying it forward to others as we go.

Why I Need Your Help

To make this trip happen, I need a van - something road-ready, reliable, and that I can live in full-time. I’ve been searching and found plenty of great options around the $20k mark.

I’m looking for someone - an individual or business - who might be open to funding the purchase.

This could be someone who:

  • Believes in giving someone a fresh start

  • Supports small businesses and wants to see them thrive

  • Has the means to help and wants to be part of something special

  • Might want some digital help in return

I’m not asking for blind generosity. I’m open to working a few hours each week for the person or business who supports this - as well as paying it forward.

Who Am I?

You can learn more about me and what I do at michaelbrimelow.com. But in a nutshell, I:

  • Run my own web design and digital support business

  • Work remotely with several clients, including ongoing projects Clancy of the Outback and Kidz Book Hub

  • Help small businesses, creatives and entrepreneurs with everything from websites, AI tools and branding, to admin systems, social media support, and automation

I’ll continue doing this work on the road — but I also want to give back.

How I’m Paying It Forward

At every town or regional stop I visit, I’ll be reaching out to the local community - usually through town Facebook pages - and offering my skills to a handful of small businesses for free - or on a pay-what-you-can basis (by donation; with no obligation).

Things I can help with:

  • Web design advice and page layout help

  • Intro to using AI tools to save time or reduce workload

  • Branding, social media guidance, Canva templates

  • Admin systems, Google Forms/Sheets help

  • Just being someone to chat with who “gets it”

There’ll be a form on my website so people can apply, and I’ll pre-select a few to visit and support when I’m in town. No catch, no pressure - just help where it’s needed most.

What You’ll Get in Return

If you're the one who helps me get this van, I’ll never forget it. Here’s what I’d be happy to offer:

  • A few hours per week working for you (remotely), doing what I do best

  • The van could carry your logo or message, travelling across Australia

  • Regular updates from the road - Instagram photos & videos - you’ll feel part of the journey

  • A story you can share with your own audience or staff

This isn’t just a handout. It’s a partnership - and a chance to be part of something truly human.

Want to Chat?

If this speaks to you in any way, I’d love to connect.

Thanks for reading. Thanks for considering. And thanks for believing in people who are just trying to find a better way to live, give, and move forward.
